Privacy policy

Maintained by the Starfire Radio station owner to explain what the site collects and why.

What we collect

  • Listening is anonymous — no account is needed to press play.
  • If you message the station we store the name, email address and message you type so staff can reply.
  • If you rate the music we store the rating, the optional comment and the optional name you provide.
  • If you sign in as a member or studio admin, your account email is handled by the authentication provider.
  • Aggregate listener counts are recorded for programming decisions; they are not tied to individuals.

How it is used

Contact details are used only to respond to your message and to notify studio staff. Ratings shape rotation decisions. We do not sell listener data.

Advertising and cookies

Free listening includes advertising, which may use cookies or similar identifiers set by the ad provider. Members with the ad shield enabled do not receive ad slots.

Retention and deletion

Messages and ratings are kept until studio staff delete them. To request deletion of anything you have sent, use the message form and ask for removal.
